Lithuanian authorities recently introduced legislation that will criminalise the public portrayal, expression or promotion of homosexuality.
The law was adopted despite an earlier Presidential veto and widespread international criticism that it violated the right to freedom of expression and the prohibition of discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation.
As it currently stands, the law is scheduled to enter into force on 1 March 2010.
Take action now to ensure all homophobic content is removed from this legislation.
