Tell Shell to clean up their act in the Niger Delta

Welcome Peter Voser as the new Chief Executive of Shell and ask him to make a commitment to clean up oil pollution in the Niger Delta.

The Niger Delta is one of the 10 most important wetland and coastal marine ecosystems in the world and home to some 31 million people. It is also the location of massive oil deposits, which have been exploited for decades by oil companies.

Oil from the Niger Delta has generated an estimated US$600 billion since the 1960s. Despite this, the majority of the population live in poverty without adequate access to clean water or health care.

Peter Voser is starting his job as Chief Executive of Shell. His term in office can and must be a turning point for Shell.
