Changes proposed to UK human rights law

The move comes after the government was embarrassed by attempts to arrest former Israeli Defence Minister Tzipi Livni (pictured) last year. A warrant was granted for Livni's arrest by a London court at the request of Palestinian plaintiffs.

Worrying news. War criminals should not be beyond the arm of the law and their apprehension should not subject to what is politically expedient.
