  • This is extremely personal to me as my own daughter was raped. I tried my best to persuade her to report it to the police but she could not stand the pressure of being "interogated" and having to face the perpetrator in court. Something needs to be done urgently to help these women. I was shocked to discover that Britain is bottom of the league, but not surprised.

Bottom of the league - "Britain came bottom of 33 countries in the study". That's really pathetic. Amnesty has written to the Times about the issue.
