  • Of course, I've just sent you an e-mail. :)

  • Great photos Tialda! Please could you email the photos to student@amnesty.org.uk, so we can use them in New Release (Amnesty's youth magazine)?

    Thanks,
Hannah Shaw (Youth Coordinator, Education & Student Team)

  • As an amnesty member at the conference..i can say that it opened our eyes to the problems homosexual people have to face in the world. Love is a human right and should not be denied by any reasons. Therefore, our int. sixth form call on the international community to raise their voices against homophobia.

  • I think with regards to hate crimes and will be treated as a priority by the Federal Office..the sama are in sweden!! ....It's so good with a reputable university, take such a matter.

Tialda's thoughts:

Sir Ian McKellen, one of the most famous British actors and also known as "Gandalf" from the Lord of the Rings film trilogy, visited our college in Cambridge to raise awareness of homophobia.

These pictures were taken on the 20th November 2009 at a conference on homophobia with students of our Amnesty International youth group.
