Protect the Human week is Amnesty's big fundraising and campaigning week. As well as raising money, your bright and buoyant parties celebrate human rights and tell new people about Amnesty's work. That kind of publicity is priceless!

What this group's discussing (18)
Don't forget about non-uniform days! Instead of your boring uniform, wear the Amnesty colours (pink, green and yellow) for the day instead!
It's now 5 weeks to go.. hope everyone is getting even more excited!
I hear there will be two groovy events in East London.
On the 17th get on down to The Haggerston pub for an Amnesty juke box- pay £1 to get your record played, in association with Oxfam so buy a record at the Dalston shop first!
On the 18th The George Tavern is hosting a similar event, but there'll also be live jazz, a bbq, live bands, crazy dancing and more.
Over in Wales the Cardigan and North Pems AI group is having their 3rd "Making a Song and Dance of it" event featuring music, poetry, jiving and pictures on sale by a local artist.
Party Animal is very impressed :)
Rubygirl that sounds great! Really hope the weather holds up for you. Do let me know if you need any materials for your tea party such as balloons, posters, banners or items to sell like badges, pencils etc. or if you have any other queries. :)
Woking Group are hosting an afternoon tea party (well, we are in Surrey). Keep your fingers crossed that we get sunshine so I can put everyone in the garden!
