Thanks for the updates. It is just so sadden that he Dongria Kondh tribe in India are struggling to defend their land against a mining company hell-bent on destroying their sacred mountain. Doing mining in their land is said to destroy their ecosystem, and I could not help but agree with their petition to stop such nature obliteration. Payday loans are not enough to restore the beauty and richness that natures gives us, do we need to wait for nature’s karma just to stop such kind of nature abuse. Let’s be reasonable, and let the movie of AVATAR serves as an eye-opener to all of us.

Interesting, and addresses population needs - but does not resolve population explosion problems eg increasing waste/sewage caused by consuming goods, food, water, electricity etc. This waste has to go somewhere and will occur no matter how 'green' people become. The crux will always return to the dynamic of human population numbers - the politics of consumerism (which is no bad thing-at some levels), and religious views about sanctity of human life( although other life does not seem to matter - even though the ultimate dynamic is indeed determined by other life i.e. biodiversity)

View all comments (7 more)I just hope that the war and the economic crisis will all evaporate right now so that we will be able to live a life that is peaceful and happy. A successful business over the long term does not happen by accident. It behooves anyone, in any business regardless of size or specific industry, to employ strategic planning. First, you have to set your goals, long and short term, and incorporate them into your mission statement. From there, you have to break it down into all its constituent parts, and what it will take to get there, in every avenue from advertising, production and finance. Using a little business planning can keep you from needing short term loans down the line, and create increased revenue over the lifetime of the business.
This fully illustrates the duality that exists within the human psyche, choosing to see things absolute truths one way or another but the film proves that we can make a choice in how we percieve and wish to be proactive in protecting the human race and the planet we inhabit. Bravo to the film maker, it is a wonderful and evocative piece of work!!!!
The victims in Bhopal have waited a long time for justice - they should not have to wait any longer! Dow Chemicals should decontaminate the site immediately! Amnesty and its' membership will not let them forget!
