Good. If they are democratic, this open process is importnat principle.

Horrific beyond bounds, This must be shared.
A must see. Agree that it should have wider viewing definitely.
Sad and completely unacceptable. What are we doing? Seeking refuge is not a crime! Today is 'them', but tomorrow is me. There for the grace of God go I.
Thank you for sharing this. It is an encouragement to keep writing
Thank you Amnesty for making it easy for us to do these things.

Wonderful to see first hand the positive effect the Greetings Cards Campaign can have! Shocked, though, to learn that Omar Deghayes was only given photocopies of the cards and letters sent to him - very cynical.
A horrifying film which deserves a wider viewing. It might make people who dismiss asylum seekers as 'scroungers' to think again.
It was really great to see this clip. I often wondered whether the cards and letters ever reached people - this has renewed my enthusiasm for sending them. Thanks for making it Omar.
Brilliant clip - good to see evidence both of the cards getting through to prisoners of conscience and also that the cards help them - makes me determined to send even more greetings card to prisoners this year
Omar Deghayes on Torture and British Intelligence:
Listen to first hand testimony of former Guantánamo detainee describing his interrogation by British Intelligence agent, "Andrew", and
others (MI5 and MI6) while held illegally in Pakistan, before being
sold into US custody and rendered to Bagram prison in Afghanistan and
subjected to torture.

So the paragraph says "some Security Services officials appear to have a dubious record relating to actual involvement, and frankness about any such involvement". in other words they were most likely complicit in torture. What happens now? Prosecution?
