I think we, as a people, need to go ahead and admit that gay rights are a civil rights issue. It's a regulation of personal and private behavior, an invasion of privacy, and the worst of the totalitarian instincts of the human species. When Constance McMillen was barred from taking her partner to her prom, it was entirely right to bring the ACLU on board – luckily for her, they don't charge so she won't need payday loans for attorney fees – to back up her student rights to bring whoever the heck she darn well saw fit to the prom, as long as that person wasn't a danger. When, oh when, will everyone grow up about this issue?
I totally agree!
Respect is necessary in a committed relationship or in any relationship between men and women such as employer and employee.
Without respect and equality there would be anarchy.
i think its great that a Male is standing up for womens rights! im fed up of being treated differently by sexist males, if only all guys had your attitude! :)

Not sure I understand well your ''thoughts'', Smkhaled, but basically you are trying to say that the present Bangladesh government is authoritarian, right? That's bad..
PLEASE STOP STOP
This is disgraceful...
Just a couple of comments that I found at the end of the article:
I am so pleased that I am not the only person who found this article offensive and very, very poorly written.

and
There is NO link between these two stories. Your tenuous connection and poorly thought out argument only serves to give me a migraine.
