Where in liverpool were the protests?
Nullico clearly is missing the point because we utterly know that the bbc is kosher on this and the british government are just doing what they always do; say one thing and do the opposite. Should he be surprised that Gordon Brown said he wanted a cease fire whilst lobbying against such a thing ? Its politics as we know it, and don't we know it ! The guys in britain who want to sell arms to anyone will go on doing that whatever we say, won't they ? As long as its the 'winning' side, why of course

Good News
It seems the Israeli government thought very highly of the repected judge, Richard Goldstone, until he wanted to investigate their actions. Now he's found and reported on the evidence of their war crimes they are busy trying to undermine his credibility. When the Israeli PR machine mentions their own investigations my stomach turns.

excellent piece of journalism. I shall ask the UN also to employ a full independent enquiry with decisions for consequence.
I believe we have seen too much suffering of the Palestinian people as well as abuses of their rights. Illicit use of bombs and weapons make things even worse. However even the Israelis have a right for peaceful living. What comes out very strongly in this context is the disproportionate
use of force by the Israelis towards the Gaza people. I appeal that any
reported abuses would be thoroughly investigated.
Poor kid.
