Very stimulating and food for thought!
Congratulations!

I totally agree!
Respect is necessary in a committed relationship or in any relationship between men and women such as employer and employee.
Without respect and equality there would be anarchy.

View all comments (7 more)The Israeli actions show that they do not see the Palestinians as people, and deny them basic human rights and respect. They are doing the same as was done to them, as a people, during the 1940s. How they cannot see this amazes and saddens me.
Diplomacy has so far failed. Any criticism of Israeli policies is seen as criticism of the Israeli state. What options are there to help the Palestinian people?
What Israel is doing in this case, is to deny the Palestinians a basic right under International Law. Irrespective of differences each may have of the other, this deliberate denial of water is an offence to humanity and should be stopped with immediate effect.
I believe that if enough people protest about this matter, it can make a huge impact on such a policy pursued by Israel. The British government has a part to play also and should be active in persuading Israel to abandoned this illegal action.
What is being done to Palestinians today equals a genocide! How inconceivable that in the 21st century the international community is idly standing by while our fellow humans have to suffer from misery deliberately inflicted upon them by others. We all need to do something urgently to stop this injustice! The US should stop its unconditional support to Israeli government! Hopefully the Israeli civil society will hold its government to account for inhuman actions in Gaza and West Bank. Thanks to activists such as Amnesty, global awareness about the real situation on the ground is raising despite the carefully crafted propaganda and the day is approaching when the Israeli government will not be able to get away with this.
Acknowledging that this is wrong is the beginning of fighting human rights abuse. Well done.
this happens everywhere there are slums in new york ,paris ,london the whole world you need to look at the roots of the problem wto imf and all thoes brothers who bunkrupted haiti and the african countries
to target a specific government is scratching the surface at best if not trying to divert from the problem itself this kind of reporting is very biased
and iam not even pro government
it is so abhorrent that in the year 2010, five years away from the dubious achievement of the millenium goals, that one eighth of women in sierra leone are still dying in child birth. This is not only shocking and horrific, but is a severe wake up call that something must be done to prevent maternal mortality in the developing world.
Women living in remote area in Peru should also have the right to maternal health.
They should not suffer from discrimination and other human rights violations which could affect their right to maternal health.
