A very honest and thought provoking speech. I only hope the voters in Oregon applaud him for this and the death penalty gets abolished completely in time.
Brave man for saying that in America. Fantastic to see a politition stick his head above the parapet for some thing noble and and some thing that could lose him as many votes as win them.

View all comments (7 more)The laws are in place in order to protect EVERYONE... even the lowly prisoner who (it just so happens) may be innocent. I can not begin to comprehend this man's emotions as he was sentenced to death.
Amazing animation, Love the idea! It was very well done and effective in telling Troy Davis' story!
My heart aches for this man whom I do not know. I wish I could change something, I wish I could stop this grave injustice from taking place.
