give them a bit of their own medicine, don't have to do it for long just so they get the message. they might not be so keen to dish it out in future.
The second George Bush is not the only US President responsible for permitting/instigating this sort of thing. But he is the most recent. Why therefore is there still no attempt to bring him to justice via the Tribunal at The Hague? Both he and Tony Blair, along with most ,perhaps, of their predecessors, share guilt in this, and much more. Bringing people like these two before The Tribunal seems to be the only hope of stopping the next US President and UK Prime Minister from doing the same things, and so on. Is Amnesty, or anybody with clout and know how, trying to get this essential process started?
Subversive, clever and hard-hitting. We need to see more of these kind of films that make people sit up and take notice and hopefully from that, action.

so powerful. ive put a link of it on all my pages (eg. facebook, myspace, tumblr) so that people can see how horrible torture really is.
shocking!!!
A rather harsh but definitely vital film to expose the methods used and the reality of their implications
MGH - Torture is wrong even for the people who authorise its usage.
i THINK IT'S ABOUT TIME THAT GEORGE BUSH AND THOSE WHO INDORSE THIS TYPE CLEAR TOUTURE SHOULD HAVE IT DONE TO THEM. wE WILL THEN SEE IF THEY THINK THIS IS OK TO DO TO OTHER HUMAN BEINGS.
Could I find this acceptable if Donald Rumsfeld were the person strapped to the board? I'm all for educating the man. But even then, I would cry out at such torture - after all he is also human, however despicable, and must be protected.
If you find this film obscene, that is Guantanamo. I was a child when we discovered what was happening in Belsen. Then I asked how much a human being would cost and was told that a human is priceless. In my childish, simplistic ignorance it seems, after Auchwitz, Belsen, Abu Graib, Guantanamo and other monstrosities I have yet to learn about and have yet to be devised, I interpreted this correctly - worthless.
Let all who have been involved in such obscenities, however remote - including those who turn away and shrug off responsibility - consider themselves as criminals against humanity. They do not deserve to sleep, let alone peacefully.
The only escape from guilt is to join those who act against such abominations and rage against power by empowering Amnesty International.
