Just a couple of comments that I found at the end of the article:
I am so pleased that I am not the only person who found this article offensive and very, very poorly written.

and
There is NO link between these two stories. Your tenuous connection and poorly thought out argument only serves to give me a migraine.

Let me see, "A mist descends and the group just keep throwing stones until the victim doesn't move anymore." That's murder. Not justice.
nice.. hi Maddy shalom aleyku!!!
Makes u think, and makes u wanna stand up and scream.
One can only admire Jorge Velásquez's courage in his fight for justice for his daughter and womankind in his country in the face of such indifference from the authorities. The lucid expression of his thoughts is a riposte to such attitudes.
It really is about time that attitudes changed in this country. Rape is a very serious crime according to the law, but the judiciary often seems to dimiss it out of hand.
Hiwaar is human rights, non profit charity web society. It highlights human rights violations and runs human rights support campaigns on behalf of victims of human rights abuses.
Hiwaar human rights society runs a website at: http://www.hiwaar.com. The site is in Arabic and English languages. The site also publishes articles and news and it has a forum for discussion.
