This is beautifully done...the words and imagery flow together well and -the sum total is both breath-taking and thought-provoking. Thank you, Dean, for sharing your soul.
a very touching video, really makes you think, some of the pictures flash too quickly before our eyes before its gone, we're too busy listening and not rewinding to see what we missed... oh and btw this video has gotten me all poetic ^_^... good job xx
The best
I wanted to mark the art work as 5 star XXXXX - I got it wrong and ended up with only 1 star. Sorry, it's five stars - honestly XXXXX
The artwork of Sam Shergill is excellent. We, in the UK, are blessed to be so lucky. We have luxuries denied to so many others; the opportunity to speak against our government, to vote - and even vote against our government, and even walk out of our front doors without being picked on, persecuted or even tortured. Luxuries we consider to be so small, that they're not so much luxuries but taken for granted as the norm.
For others persecution and torture are the norm. And images like these by Sam Shergill, add well to the importance of Amnesty International in their quest to change this. Bless you Amnesty.
Womens day is deserved. Women have fought so hard against outrageous and ridiculous bigotry over their history and a day to celebrate their fight, to remember the likes of Pankhurst, Goldman and Besant is very welcome. They were as the great scientists who shaped our lives..pioneers. Pioneers who suffered for what they firmly believed.
And no its nothing to do with "feminism" it's to do with respect and social justice which are to me great cornerstones of our humanity.
