I hope you get a chance to check out the videos on this site showing the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in rhyming couplets, which I wrote and directed. Working with Chloe and Lynn at Amnesty International UK and with producing help from Rupert, we spent more than a year shooting over 50 amazing artists reading them. I want to thank everyone for their invaluable help and time during this project. It feels strange that the filming has come to an end....but this is just the beginning...we now need to spread the word to EVERYBODY - because, as is written - "These rights and freedoms encompass all". Many of us know that this declaration exists - but few know what the rights contained within the 30 articles actually are. Most of us take these rights for granted, which in my opinion we are entitled to do - but we must remember that there are so many people that share our planet that have never been granted any of them.
