SamSam's thoughts:
Aung San Suu Kyi has committed no crime. As one of the founders of the National League for Democracy and the winner of the 1990 general election, she is being held in detention simply because of her political activities and peaceful opposition to the military regime that controls Burma.

I totally disagree with Ben L (3 days ago). I found it heart-rending AND informative. I had previously not been aware of why Aung San Suu Kyi was detained in the first place, and her name had not registered with me. People in the public eye with presentational skills can and do make a difference. A well-made video.
Very moving well done!
Bit cheesy guys
the film is one contribution of many other contributions whether reports, documentaries, concerts etc etc etc...its also on the 64forsuu homepage - http://www.64forsuu.com/ a lot of people appear to like it.........
Very moving
It's an irritating and sententious presentation. And patronising, for it assumes we need emotive drama to connect to Aung San Suu Kyi's plight but really we just need the facts. A single dispassionate reporter reading the script without demonstrating his/her outrage at the abuse Aung San has suffered will do, thank you. I love actors, but this is not a job for them.
