Burma VJ highlights the oppression that occurs within Burma. Thousands of political prisoners, including Aung San Suu Kyi, are held in detention. Until they are released there can be no genuine improvement in the human rights situation in Burma.

A sharp and fearless journalist, a people of The People, and he walks tall with his camera, recording Chinese government actions, knowing that it will end with his getting shot. He accepts that. It is his karma.
Love the video! Really demonstrates the courage and desire for freedom that people still yearn for even after decades of oppression.

I watched this film last week and was stunned by the bravery of those involved in its production. A true testament to the ability of individuals to make a difference.
