Although this speech is very clearly aimed at Nazi Germany, Chaplin's main message of freedom, equality and democracy and the people blocking that seems applicable to the Western World also. And if that wasn't the case then, it is now.

The speech itself is beautifully written and delivered, plus bordering on the inspiring.
