This tragedy of law was passed in 2006 and is in conflict with international law and the Geneva conventions.

Sadly the US has become all too much of an example to the rest of the world. Without US flouting of human rights and international insitutions, it would have been unthinkable for instance that Russia would have invaded Georgia.
