Why therefore is there still no attempt to bring him to justice via the Tribunal at The Hague? Both he and Tony Blair, along with most ,perhaps, of their predecessors, share guilt in this, and much more. Bringing people like these two before The Tribunal seems to be the only hope of stopping the next US President and UK Prime Minister from doing the same things, and so on. Is Amnesty, or anybody with clout and know how, trying to get this essential process started?

Then I asked how much a human being would cost and was told that a human is priceless. In my childish, simplistic ignorance it seems, after Auchwitz, Belsen, Abu Graib, Guantanamo and other monstrosities I have yet to learn about and have yet to be devised, I interpreted this correctly - worthless.

Let all who have been involved in such obscenities, however remote - including those who turn away and shrug off responsibility - consider themselves as criminals against humanity. They do not deserve to sleep, let alone peacefully.

The only escape from guilt is to join those who act against such abominations and rage against power by empowering Amnesty International.
