Nicaragua's total ban on abortions is denying girls and women life-saving treatment, preventing health professionals from practising effective medicine and contributing to an increase in maternal deaths across the country. More at www.amnesty.org.uk/dignity

The medical profession in Nicaragua should not have to function in this atmosphere of fear, which denies pregnant women much needed healthcare! The total ban on abortion should be lifted!
